GENERAL INFORMATION
- GSAlumnae has an Activities Coordinator. She is the person to direct any questions to.
- All Major Events (Women's Weekend, Holiday Extravaganza, Gold Award Luncheon) must submit a budget to the GSAlumnae treasurer 30 days prior to the event. The final budget must be submitted no later than 30 days after the event. The budget will be reviewed by the GSAlumnae Steering Committee. The budget forms can be found on the Members Only page under GSA Forms.
- All FUN Committee Events must submit a budget to the FUN committee for use of their discretionary funds.
- A final budget must be submitted after the event is concluded.
- Forms for reimbursement of all expenses must also be submitted (they can also be found on the Members Only page).
- GSNorCal requirements must also be followed:
- All Event Chair/Co-Chairs must have taken the GSNorCal Event Manager Course online training module. We recommend re-taking it every 5 years to stay current with GSNorCal procedures.
- All Events must have insurance purchased. Plan 2 insurance is sufficient for our events and must cover all non-GSNorCal registered attendees.
- For events where girls are in attendance:
- We must follow adult to girl ratios for the lowest girl-level in attendance
- Those volunteers must be:
- Fingerprinted and/or background checked
- Be registered for the current Girl Scout year with GSNorCal
- Have completed the mandatory reporter training
- Kitchen staff must follow food safety training requirements set forth by GSNorCal
