WE HELP...

  • Provide leadership and talent resources at special events sponsored by GSNC,
  • Direct our fundraising proceeds to areas not always covered by the Council’s budget,
  • Host events for older Girl Scouts and assist in Council activities, and
  • Create awareness of the Girl Scouting movement and what it offers to all ages of its members.

WE HAVE FUN...

GSA members enjoy the camaraderie of being with women who share similar ideals and we always have fun!
  • We host an annual Women’s Weekend at Camp Bothin to sing around the campfire, eat s’mores, learn new crafts and relax!
  • We organize ski trips, theater parties and family picnics based on interest.
  • Plan a trip every few years – open to all adult Scouts – to a place significant to Girl Scouting.  So far, we’ve been to Savannah, Georgia, Pax Lodge in London and Our Cabanna in Mexico.

Women's Weekend

This event is put on by GSA for GSA members.  It's a chance for GSA members to get together to relax, enjoy our sisterhood, craft, and just be at camp.   This event is always held in September at Bothin.

Holiday Extravaganza

This event is run by GSA for Older Girl Scouts (6-12 grade) in GS NorCal.  It is always the first weekend in November and held at Bothin. 

GSA Members do you like to craft?  This is the weekend for you.  GSA members spend the day teaching a craft to girls and then enjoy time mentoring, visiting with friends, and just being at camp.  Don't have a craft?  We'll give you one!

Older Girls this is your chance to get away without your troop.  Come with a best bud or by yourself.  If you love to craft, you'll come home from the weekend with a bunch of handmade gifts ready for giving during the holiday season.
